Located to Nanzen ji in Kyoto, famous buddhism place there is a link possible with the wrathful deity: Marishi-ten 摩利支天 always perched on the back of a wild boar.
Nanzen Ji also is known to be the base of the EDO shogunate (Tokugawa) from the 17th century
One of his general was Takeda Shingen 武田信玄, and his emblem is the wild boar…
